Excavation
Excavation is usually carried out by machine using our own C I T B registered operators and always with a 'Banksman' standing by as a lookout.
All necessary protection and signing is always provided so you know that you are safe.
The excavated material is taken away in small lorries (to protect the environment) and is nearly always recycled, in some instances we have to use a landfill tip but these are always registered with the Department of the Environment and we do possess a Waste Carriers Licence to ensure safe disposal. We pay all tipping fees, so no extra charges.
At the end of every day the last half hour is always scheduled for clearing up, so no mess is left on site.
From the smallest driveway extension to the largest car park we are equal to the task.
Depending on the layout, a drainage system is now incorporated using either clay or plastic materials in all underground situations connecting to the existing system or to a new soakaway using a variety of collecting vessels. All drainage systems are flushed through with clean water and then tested before covering.
New manhole covers and gully gratings can sometimes be disguised and blended in with the surrounding surfaces.
