Coated Macadam or Tarmac

The most versatile of surfacing materials is produced locally to British Standard 4987 laid and rolled whilst hot to give a lasting, durable and economical surface.

This surface can be either hand laid or machine laid depending on the size of the area to be covered and usually comprises of a base course and wearing course macadam.

The wearing course can be coloured or have decorative stone rolled in to give an individual look.
